These things take time

Fitting title for my post. You'll understand why in a moment. I've gotten to the point in my life where i feel more like an adult than a child. My dreams of becoming a paid musician are dwindling by the day. Ill never stop playing music, but im starting to realize that it will never be a career. My band is currently in the studio with our first LP. If something happens, something happens. If not, i know we tried our best and wrote some interesting music.

With that being said, Ive started my job search in the journalism field after two years with my degree. The job market sucks. Most job posts claim to be entry level positions. "Perfect for recent college graduates". However most require experience in writing or promotions. It doesn't seem fair. Some of us were too busy at school to write for free at our local paper or wherever, Attention Employers: LOWER YOUR STANDARDS! Your looking for workers? Bend the rules a little. We all want the best for our businesses. But to build, we have to start at the grass roots level. not in the middle of the sky scraper.

I hope to make this at a weekly blog. It took me almost a year and a half for this post. But, Ive got a lot on my mind lately. and if you're reading, im writing. Much Love, Frankie

Good for you man. You may have inspired me to do my own. This is a good way to start a writing career.
